Weird alien sounds during calls

Hello, I’ve been hearing these weird, distorted alien sounds during phone calls. It basically sounds like my phone is underwater and I vaguely hear what resembles a voice sometimes. It usually happens within five minutes of a call or right before I’m about to hang up, sometimes throughout. The call sometimes cuts in and out as well. I don’t know if I’m being tapped, and I don’t know if it’s my carrier but I literally got this phone a month ago, so it would be a great disappointment if it was. please help!

To start, let us know more about what's going on. Which exact iOS version are you using? The version can be found under Settings > General > About.

Have you noticed if this issue occurs when calling all contacts, or only certain ones? Do you use any earphones or headphones while in a call?
