How long does the laptop can take to diagnose?

To diagnose a issue, restart and hold D until the Apple logo appears twice. The diagnostics shouldn’t take too long, like about 1-5 minutes. If you can’t use the trackpad, then go to the Genius Bar to get it fixed.
