Why can’t I cancel my ancestry account

What trouble are you having? When you go to Settings/[your name]/Subscriptions, do you see the subscription? If it is there does it have a Cancel button? If not, does it have a Renew button? If there’s a Renew button it has been canceled. It will still be active to the end of the current subscription period, however.


If you don’t see it at all under Subscriptions you must have subscribed directly with Ancestry. Log in to your account using a web browser to cancel it there.
