location of lost iPad

My iPad is lost. :(. I have it listed as LOST on iCloud...

Why am I unable to see the location option on Find My? It doesn't even give the option for Location....

also....I received an email that says this: "Activation Lock is requesting your password on julie’s iPad (iPad)".

Does this mean that someone has tried opening it up?

Lost ipad shows as a device shown in Find my ipad but location not known since not connected to internet. Its set as lost. Do I need to change my icloud password? A Lost ipad does show as a device in Find my ipad but with location not known (since not connected to internet). It is now set as lost pending an internet connection. Do I need to change my icloud password?

My iphone stolen and not able to erase My iPhone was stolen at the airport. From my iPad, I was able to immediately set the device to Erase. I have also reported the theft with local law enforcement. However, I am still able to track it in 'Find My'. It has traveled to 3 countries since. It does not show the device has been erased. Instead, it says "Cancel Erase" and "Remove This Device". Today, I received an email asking "Activation Lock is requesting your password on iPhone". Obviously the thief is trying to access the phone. How can I make sure all my information is gone??? I can't seem to get in touch with anyone from apple support. Only email.

It sound to me like somebody is trying to phish for a way to unlock your device so they can use it.
