Microsoft Teams Call Options Replaces Facetime

Now have teams on my phone for work it seems to have auto-integrated into my contacts list.

Normally when you click on a contact, their info tab opens up and under their name is 5 Icons for:

Message | Call | Facetime | Mail | Pay

Now with teams on my phone it goes:

Message | Call | Teams | Mail | Pay

I literally will never want to use teams with my contact. Furthermore, that middle icon has been Facetime for years so muscle memory means everytime I go to Facetime I end up hitting teams call.

Is there anyway outside of deleting the teams app to remove this integration and restore it back to just facetime?

I saw one option suggesting to remove contacts permissions from teams. That's never been enabled for me so maybe this is a glitch?

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities, Teams_is_bad.

We understand you are wanting to remove the Teams option in your Contacts app and restore it back to the FaceTime option. We'd like to have you double-check in your settings that Teams does not have access to your contacts. If you go into your iPhone Settings > Teams > Contacts, we'll want to be sure that the option to allow access is not selected.

If that option is not selected and you continue to only see Teams in your contacts, we encourage you to reach out to Microsoft Support for additional assistance.

You could also try starting FaceTime calls by one of the other methods listed in the "Make a FaceTime call" section of the article below.

Use FaceTime with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Take care.
