Not by default. If you configure System Preferences > iCloud Drive to [√] Optimize Mac Storage, it will store, if space available, the contents of iCloud Drive on your local Mac drive in ~/Library/Mobile Documents. If anything changes on your iCloud Drive contents, then Time Machine will back this up each time it runs.


You need to assess how much you have stored on iCloud Drive, the available local storage on your Mac startup drive, and if your Time Machine drive has the capacity to add this additional backup content.
