I have searched and tried everything listed on here and nothing works. I have two factor on, I have the app specific password, I set my servers to imap.mail.me.com and smtp.mail.me.com, I have SSL on, I have the ports set to incoming 993 and outgoing 587; nothing works. I keep getting the error message "Unable to connect to server." Really should not be this hard. Any other ideas? I am beyond frustrated.

Hi davis997,

We understand you're receiving an error with iCloud Mail. We'll be happy to help. This may be related to a recent system outage that impacted iCloud Mail.

You can always check on the status of Apple's systems here:

Apple - Support - System Status

The issue now seems to be resolved. Are you still experiencing an error?

Hope this helps!

Have a great day.
