Log in as an admin user.

On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Users & Groups. If the lock at the bottom left is locked , click it to unlock the preference pane. Select the user you want to delete, then click the Remove button (looks like a minus sign) below the list of users.

How you would remove users from your Mac is to first click the apple icon in the top right-hand corner > then click System preferences > Next click Users and groups > then if it is grayed out in the bottom left-hand corner click the lock and use touch id if your mac has it or your password to make changes to the users and groups > then click on the user you want to make changes too or delete and you can delete them by in the bottom left-hand corner press the minus button and confirm to delete the user.
