My iCloud Drive is turned on and the files don't appear on iCloud.com. I've tried turning the Desktop & Documents Folders on and off but that didn't work. Not sure how something this simple could fail to work. Any ideas? Thanks -- Jon
It looks like it did finally sync. For anyone else experiencing this, the issue is that the sync works but the UI doesn't correctly represent what's going on.
I found some hints to try logging out and logging in again from iCloud. I did this. iCloud Drive silently removed all the files in my documents folder. It took a while, but I found them in an archive folder and put them back on iCloud. The sync failed again. This is very un-Apple. Things usually "just work" on a Mac, but I will be abandoning iCloud Drive for Dropbox if someone can't tell me how to fix this. Dropbox is not as slick or well-integrated, but it does seem to work pretty flawlessly from past experience. -- Jon
