4TB external drive won't initialize...First Aid not detecting any errors

I've Connected my WD Easystore WDBKUZ0040BBK to my Macbook Pro (13") running High Sierra 10.13.6.

It had an error while transferring files overnight that I do not recall what the error was, but recall the folder where the issue happened.

I clicked ok (only option) and everything including finder just froze.

I then restarted the computer and then got the "not readable" error prompt.

I opened disk utility and tried to initialize from there but with no success, the HD never initialized after that.

I read that you should use Disk Utility's First Aid.

It completes in less than a second with no details of doing anything just says "Operation Successful".

I read that 1TB should take about 90 minutes and there was about 3TB of files on there...

Other details:

I've changed cables in case it was an insufficient energy error and still no go.

The drive has never been dropped and it transferred over a TB earlier that same day in the exact same spot of my desk.
