Screensaver and desktop photos not edited versions

With the latest release of macOS BigSur version 11.3.1 or iOS 14.5.1 photos I use my screensaver or for the desktop have reverted to the unedited versions. That is, if they've been cropped, edited or rotated, all of that has been reverted to the original photo. How do get the photos back to the edited versions? Thank you in advance. 5/14/21 3pm EST

Hello joerum62,

Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities.

If we understand correctly, after updating to macOS Big Sur, the photos you selected for the screen saver have changed.

Have you tried setting up the screen saver again, selecting the edited photos you want to use? Are you seeing the edited photos to select? See User a screen saver on your Mac for details if needed.

If the screen saver is still not working, let us know a little more details about what you have tried.

Take care!
