i cant get itunes to open on my computer why?

Then, try uninstalling it, and installing it again. Also check if its not just hung in Task Manager. You can try to force close it from there.

Otherwise, remove it, and install it again.

That error is normally associated with some corrupted files. See above link for there fix.

What happens when you try?

Do you get an error?

Does it simply not open when you click its icon?
