Why does imovie not have subtitle features like in clips?

This would be the best feature ever pls add it!

iMovie doesn't let me add more than 10 subtitles I am trying to use the titles function of iMovie to add subtitles for a song video. It was fine until I tried to add the 11th one that it would automatically delete itself, or delete the one before if I'm dragging around. Is there a limit of 10 titles in iMovie project? If so, how else can I add subtitles in iMovie? I have upgraded iMovie to the latest version and tried delete preferences as per previous discussion thread suggested. However, the problem persists. Please advise.

How to import a movie clip into iMovie along with the english subtitles I would like to use a short clip from a non-english speaking film in an iMovie project, and I would like to include the english subtitles. How do I do this? The m4v file that I generate has the subtitles, but the default is disabled and I don't know how to change this? Thanks for your help

Titles bleeding from one video clip to the next I've created a movie in iMovie and added a music track and titles to each video clip used to build the completed video. However, when I go back after playing it and want to shorten some video clips, the titles bleed from the previous video clip onto the one I've edited. Any suggestions on how to fix this...other than starting from scratch or deleting all titles and re-adding them?

Unfortunately, there is no way to change some of the more interesting animated titles and the theme titles.

Some of the predefined Title templates in iMovie allow a subtitle. Could you not use them? For example:
