Slide finger to type not working on IPad

On my IPhone 11 Pro Max, I swipe type often. I recently had purchased the iPad Pro and noticed that it doesn’t swipe type.

Would anyone be able to help resolve this with me ?

Check Settings>General>Keyboard>All Keybkards>Slide on floating keyboard to type>On

Allow finger to swipe from corner toggles back on its own. Finger swipe from corner really makes the usage of my ipad a pain. I tried to untoggle it but something really weird is happening. I click it, it goes grey, then I go back to settings, and when I go back to gestures, ITS ON AGAIN. I Dont understand if it has to do with some other setting I am using but I have tried a couple of things over in accesibility and none of it worked.
