Voice call - too loud

When I'm on a call the volume is so loud that people around me can hear the conversation. I tried using the volume buttons but it wont go below a certain level. The phone is not on speaker.

Voices are very faint during calls. Tried everything to increase volume so I can hear the speaker. I have an iPhone 11. How can I increase the volume of the speaker for incoming calls? Voices are very faint. I can hardly hear the speaker. No problem when a call comes through in the car. I have tried all the obvious volume tabs and looked through settings. Any ideas?

Settings>Sounds & Haptics>Change with buttons....

Make some tests, turning that option ON or OFF.

When on call at that point you use the volume button. Then the call volume will go down.
