Storage

My phone keeps telling me that I have no storage left but I purchased more storage end it shows that I have a lot of space left. My phone originally has 64 GB and I purchased the 2tb. I’ve only used up 64.3 out of the 2 but it still won’t let me take pictures or anything else

You cannot add storage to your Phone. iCloud is a separate thing.

You need to delete items off your phone; click on the "manage" button as shown in your screenshot and create some free space. You need to maintain an absolute minimum of 2 - 3 GB of free empty space at all times - that is for the iOS to function properly, If you fill it up completely, it will stop functioning.

Hi,

Pay attention!

You actually can’t add storage to your iPhone, storage you bought is iCloud storage.

This page should help you to understand what’s the difference between iPhone storage and iCloud storage.

You can however free up (and not add) space on your iPhone: settings/general/iPhone storage ——> You’ll be able to see how apps use your iPhone storage, delete some apps you don’t want anymore and you can also follow tips on the storage page to free up space easily.

Some Thoughts:

A. Try Hard-Restarting your iPhone:

  1. Go To: Settings
  2. Select: General
  3. Scroll to: the Very-Bottom
  4. Select: Shut Down
  5. Slide Finger: to the Right
  6. Wait: 30 Seconds
  7. Power On: the iPhone
  8. Try this Once More

B. Re-sync with iCloud:

Sign Out of iCloud on your iPhone it, restart the iPhone (using the above info), then sign back in to iCloud, once you are back in to the iPhone.
