20w adapter w/10.5 iPad

Can I use a 20 watt Power Adapter to charge an iPad 10.5 - without damaging it.

Your iPad Pro supports USB PD (Power Delivery) Fast Charging. If your 20W Power Adapter supports USB PD, as supported by Apple 20W Power Adapters, your iPad will fast-charge at its maximum 18W charging rate - without an issues.


If the Power Adapter is not of Apple origin, or does not support USB PD, your iPad will happily charge at its standard 12W chargind rate (2.4A @5V).
