My new MacBook pro’s fan doesn’t stop running

Hello, all

I am confused about the fan on my laptop, as it is running pretty loudly when I am only using google chrome, with 5 tabs open (all of them in order to find out information as to why this is happening). I don’t believe this is taking up so much CPU, I believe it’s called, that it must have a heavy fan even after only just being restarted.

I sincerely would appreciate some help, as this is seriously confusing me since I only just got this laptop yesterday. Edit; I should likely add that this is the 2020 16” MacBook Pro with one TB storage, if that may help information-wise.

Since the 16-inch MacBook Pro runs an Intel-based CPU, that should

be able to run an SMC reset (unlike newest Apple Silicon, that can't.)


So the steps through a maze of instructions, may take you out..

Depending on certain security chips in Mac, instructions vary.
