strong password lost

My keychain/passwords said my password wasn't strong enough for a specific website so when I changed it on the site to an automated strong p/w it didn't update in the keychain and now I cant get into my log in on the website. cant someone help me out? It's like there's no communication between the website and my Apple ID so its just lost in limbo. Thanks
