Photos downloading as zip files

Even ONE photo is now downloaded as a zip file. It takes numerous steps to get it to open and then all I see is an "icon" or whatever it is called - can't even see the photo until 2 more clicks.

Apple's "improvement" in this photo download process is beyond useless and shows, yet again, that user satisfaction isn't even a consideration. They dish out what they want you to have and you can just suck it up.

Well, I'm done. My husband's Android phone works flawlessly. He can move photos, videos, music easily from his phone to his PC and vs vs. Going shopping next week! Getting a tablet, too, and ditching the iPad.
