MacBook Pro screen flickers after disconnecting from USB C external monitor

Hi all

Before I take my Mac to a support centre I wanted to see if this is a known issue.

Sometimes when the MacBook Pro 13" is connected to an external monitor using the USB C cable the external screen won't turn on from wake up or will flicker.

If I disconnect the cable, the Macbook screen will continue flickering sporadically or when touching the touchpad.

The only way to resolve this is to press the restart button.

I've already run a few reset procedures and nothing worked.

See attached a sample.

Thanks

Mike
