Final Cut Pro stuck at 0% when sharing

I tried to export a video by the youtube tab and the export tab and it is stuck at 0% writing. I already allowed read & write permissions, restarted my mac, deleted the app and downloaded it, updated my mac, and deleted all render files.

Uninstall AVG and Chrome.

Never use any antivirus or cleaner, they wreak havoc on your system, and actually decrease security.

Chrome and especially its “keystone” updaters cause serious problems for video applications. Read about it in

It appears that among the various troubleshooting steps, deleting preferences was not mentioned. Try it. It is usually the first thing to try when FCP is misbehaving.

To delete preferences, hold down command and option while starting FCP X and click Delete Preferences. The application will start in a default state, and open an “Untitled” library.

Reopen the library you were working on, set the preferences the way you like them, and try again.

Also, try exporting a Master File, and under Settings choose H264. Or try exporting to Apple Devices, to check if the problem may be specific to the YouTube and Facebook destination.

58 GB is a little low but there should be ok unless it’sa long video.

Let’s go deeper. Please post an EtreCheck report  giving the application full disk access from  System  Preferences. When it finishes the scan, click Share Report and choose "Copy Report"; then paste in the additional text box in your reply.
