Apple Watch V6 and my gmail calendar plus my wife's gmail calendar

I want my native apple watch calendar to show both my google calendar and my wife's gmail calendar.


I have this combined display working with the app "Readdle/calendars" on my iphone and the combined display working with the native apple calendar app. I also have the combined display working working on the apple 6 watch - using the Readdle complication.


However on my apple 6 watch native calendar, I do not see my wife's calendar entries.


This is driving me nuts. Can we start talking about how this is possible.

Then this might not be what you asked, but just want to mention that I have found the shared iCloud calendars very simple to set up and reliable too, so that might be something to explore as well.
