Superior Drummer 3 Audio Unit Crashes Validation - won't open

I've reinstalled both Logic and SD3 but still have the same problem - AUValTool crashes when I have SuperiorDrummer3.component in the Plug-In folder - any ideas on how to fix/get around this?

Logic Pro X "Sampler Instrument (mellotron) not found." I've seen a few people have this question, and I've just run into the issue as well. I just recently backed up my entire computer on an external drive, including the Audio Music Apps section from the Library. Now my projects that use the vintage mellotron plugin show up with an error message when every time I open the project, specifying the setting of mellotron I was using in the session, example Sampler Instrument "strings and flute" not found OR "flutes" etc. And that same mellotron track in the project defaults to a sound I've never heard before, like distorted vibes meets electric piano -- not the mellotron sound I previously selected. I am able to reload the mellotron sound by opening up the plugin and reselecting the sound I want, but I cannot do that and keep my specific settings in that instrument. :( Anyone have any solutions to this problem yet? Thank you.

Drum Machine troubleshooting I want to preface this by saying I am new to Logic so this is probably a user error of some sort. Anyway, when I open logic and create a new software inst. channel, everything seems to works fine. Connection to my midi is fine and I seem to have full use of the program. When I attempt to use the drum machine sounds, however, my computer tells me I need to download additional content to be able to use those particular sounds. So, I go ahead and download what was suggested only for it to take no effect whatsoever. 1 or 2 of the sounds load perfectly fine but the rest seem to not want to download. This goes for every sound file in the drum machine tab under electronic drum kits. How can i fix this?

Trouble Getting FCP to open. When I try to open Final Cut Pro, the opening screen displays "Validating Audio Units...IK Multimedia: TR5 Sunset Sound Studio Reverb (53/93)". My IK Multimedia software isn't even used in FCP but instead for my Pro Tools App. I trashed TR5, which I wasn't using anyway. I also moved FCP to trash, now several times and reloaded fresh from the App Store. Still the same indication. I created a new account and got a slightly different result. FCP booted with the same "Validating..." indication, but it had a different name and number, like 53/93 but the first number started increasing with different files as if actually validating. It kept freezing but when I would restart FCP the number would keep increasing until it finally got to 93/93 and FCP opened normally. In my primary account it stays stuck at 53/93. Please help.
