imessage missing icons

Cannot add photos OR Apple Store to imessages since last update.

"Messages" does not have an "App" button. Can not insert pictures. There is supposed to be a button to the left of the entry field in iMessage, which I can use to add files/pictures to a message. This button is missing. See the attached screenshot. [Image Edited by Moderator to Remove Personal Information]

Found my own answer Had to turn on MMS messaging then it showed up. Guess the recent update changed that setting since I could see that before. :(
