FaceTime - two different devices answering the same call

More an answer than question, but my wife was getting a FaceTime call on her personal phone when she noticed her work phone was also ringing. Weird. Espionage? Lol When I looked into it, her work phone said ‘answered by another device.’ Hmmmm

After exhaustive searching it turns out that the caller had both her personal and work numbers in the same contact. FaceTime calls all the devices in contacts, so it’s the person calling you, not you or any settings in your device.

many many iPhone users struggled with that because no setting can fix it. Only the caller can by creating separate contacts. Have a good day
