My Airpods Pro just played a extremely loud sound while I was quietly listening to some music.
I have the ear protection feature enabled and this burst of sound was soooo load my left ear is still hurting.
Like wtf apple?
Firmware/iOS is up to date. The Airpods Pro are 3 weeks old and I'm using them with my iPhone 12 Pro Max.
Yeah, that's what Apple Support told me. But as I'd have to wait 7 days for them to repair them (getting the replacement beforehand is not available to none applecare+ users anymore) I just went ahead and returned them through amazon.
I don't think this issue is the one described. Anyway, hopefully the replacement will be fine.
