Multiple series in Scatter Plot?

How many series can I plot in a Numbers scatter plot? It appears to have an Order 3 and I need 4. All are sharing the same X values.

If you try to plot too many, the error message is it "is more than a maximum of 300" so the limit appears to be 300. But the one thing you'll run into much sooner is it repeats colors every 6 series (Excel does 12 so it's not much better). You'll have to manually change colors after series 6 if you want them to be unique. Of course, a chart with too many lines is pretty useless anyway because we cannot distinguish minor color differences very well.
