iPhone Transition
I got the iphone 12 yesterday and I did an iPhone to iPhone transfer. My old phone is a 7+. All my photos and contacts transferred over, however, all my apps are still loading and having been "loading" for over 12 hours now.

Not too unusual, particularly if your WiFi connection is not strong. Your photos likely transferred from the phone, the apps from the web. If they do not download after a day, try a better WiFi connection or try restarting the phone and then continuing the download.
