M1 Mac Mini - Magic Mouse 2 Keeps Disconnecting
This is a re-post of a prior question/issue, but with no apparent resolution. Seeking current updates from the community.
I have an M1 Mac Mini running latest 11.3.1 MacOS release of BigSur. Connected via BT is Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse 2. While many reports of early BT issues on the M1 Mac Mini - and some of which have been helped with OS updates - my issue persists.
My problem is very precise. Randomly (sometimes many instances per day, sometimes no instances per day) the Magic Mouse 2 will drop its BT connection. When this happens, I dont even have to be touching the mouse. This will always happen the same way. The system will show disconnected and then connected ... it will do this exactly two times back-to-back. Then things back to normal.
In troubleshooting the problem, I have done all the recommendations ... removing/re-adding the mouse in BT system preferences, removing the 2 mouse related PLIST files in user library folder.
I have tried swapping for a different Magic Mouse 2, and the problem persists.
As an aside, the BT connected Apple Magic Keyboard never experiences any disconnects.
Does anyone have any further updates on this problem? Doubtful I am the only one ... very frustrating that this is happening with an all Apple setup.
