can iPhone 12 connect to old mac using High Sierra?
My iPhone 12 when connected via USB isn't seen in Finder, is there issue with older mac's and iPhone 12s?

The Finder does not see iOS devices on Mac OS X 10.14.6 or earlier. Instead all management must be done from iTunes, and/or Image Capture (for photos and videos only).
