On iPhone 12, an app wants to update Safari. What is the solution?

You can’t update Safari as a stand alone update. It is updated when the iOS is updated. Another thought is that the website doesn’t work with Safari and the site needs to be updated to work with the current version of iOS Safari. I would check with the website administrator.

It is a scam. Delete the message.
