Ranking Mailadresses

When composing a new mail, Mail suggests a mailadres to use, normally based on the last opened mail you have. In the scroll pannel, you can change the chosen mailadres you to sent from suggested in a form af ranking I would like to change. Due to my long relationship with Apple, I still have a lot of adresses out of the .me and .Mac period before .icloud started. I still use them but not so oft and the ones I use often are off course in the middle of the scroll panel.

The question is now, can I change the ranking?

Hi Sier,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities. We understand that you want to change the ranking of your email addresses however at this time there isn’t a way to change the email address ranking. You can currently select to have one email address as the primary or have the best account automatically selected. “If you want to use the same From address for all your messages, choose Mail > Preferences, click Composing, click the “Send new messages from” pop-up menu, then choose an email account. Or choose instead to have Mail automatically select the best address, based on the email address of the first recipient in your message, as well as the currently selected mailbox and message.” For more information check out the Apple Support article Address emails in Mail on Mac.
