Mac Mini M1 can't display 4k at 60 hz on a Benq EW2780U through USB C Port

I have recently bought a Mac mini M1 and a Benq EW2780U monitor with USB C, but I am really dissapointed because it can only display 4k at 30 Hz what it is unacceptable. It is supposed that both devices are ready to display 4k at 60 Hz. Is there any solution to this problem?

BTW I am running Big Sur on 11.3.1 version

Thanks in advance

If you read thru their Q&A:

Why is my BenQ monitor locked at 4K 30Hz/2K 60Hz or not showing 4K 60Hz/2K 144Hz when connected to a Mac M1?

EW2780U

The new M1 CPU platform from Apple may cause the resolution and refresh rate to be limited to 4K 30Hz when connected via USB-C. In order to fix this compatibility issue, a new firmware update is needed for the monitor. The new updated firmware will launch by the end of May 2021. Other connections such as DisplayPort and HDMI do not have this issue.

Actually, a lot of monitors work well with the M1 Mini - many users have had issues with the poor quality cables supplied by the monitor manufacturer, incompatible settings on their monitors or scaled incorrectly or eveb the wrong port is chosen (some monitors have multiple ports - 2K vs 4K vs WQHD, etc)..

My 32" Samsung is flawless - works perfectly - wakes up each day - scaling resolutions allows full screen 4K video and down to text / photo manipulation.
