Invalid checksum and invalid tree

Hi all,

Got an issue at my MacBook Pro 17" early 2011

Running High Sierra 10.13.6.

I have installed a SSD 1Tn about a year ago. Everything was fine for a decent period of time. Now I'm suffering from the fact that sometimes files are not visible after saving. Next I'm not able to empty the trash, whatever I try. Running first aid it tells me that the FStree is invalid and that the checksum is invalid.

Recommended is to format the drive, do a restore from time machine.... That's possible of course.

My question is, is the fault causing the error not restored as well?

HTH soon.

Thanks in advance and best wishes.
