Wifi calling on a no SIM card iphone7+

I am using a iphone7+ without a SIM card. But I cannot send any iMessages nor can I can access my Settings-Phone to activate wifi-calling. Please help! Thank you!

You need a phone number with the account to send text messages and place calls. Not 100% on this, but you might be required to have a SIM to place calls.

In this context, WiFi calling is a carrier provided feature. Without a SIM, you can't do WiFi calling because you don't have any phone service at all.

You could use an app and a service like Google Voice to place calls to actual phone numbers, or FaceTime audio to call other FaceTime users.
