No internet with MacBook Pro but with iPad and iPhone

In some locations, my MacBook pro will not connect to the WIFI that in the same location at the same time, I can connect with an iPad and Iphone? At home this does not occur. Any suggestion, please?

Typically, if you are not able to connect to the Internet at certain location, but can at others, it may be due to the network settings on your notebook. Two settings to check are: Proxys and VPNs. These may have been configured in your notebook's Wi-Fi settings and why you are not having issues gaining access to the Internet from home.

For proxies, these settings are found at: System Preferences > Network > Wi-Fi > Advanced > Proxies tab. By default none of the protocols should be checked.

For VPNs, this is something if you use, you would know how to disable it.
