monitor error message- out of range
monitor states out of range when connected to mac pro. will not work. how do I resolve this problem?

That message is generated by the display, not by your Mac.
Turn Off [√] Mirror Displays, which uncouples the external from the resolution of the Internal display.
The hold the option key while you click on the (Detect Displays) button that will appear, and settings will appear to allow you to change the resolution of each and every display independently, even if that display is set out-of-range as yours is now.

what finally worked was DP cable to USB-C. that was the best option for my problem, check it out!!
