I am not able to get 5G connectivity on my 2021 ipad pro - It seems that my Google Fi data only sim is still stuck on a 4G LTE network. Anyone else facing similar issues? I am not sure if this is a google fi limitation or something on ipad HW side.

From what I can find, it appears Google Fi 5G coverage is (was?) provided via T-Mobile, where that coverage is available.
I live within 5G data coverage and have it consistently with my Pixel 5. I live chatted Google Fi Support thinking my existing data only Sim was too old and said I needed a data only Sim the would support 5G and they said I needed to order a new one which arrived on Sunday, May 30th with the same result. No 5G. I can check with another Google Fi Support rep to determine if days only Sims support 5G. In the meantime is there a Cellular setting on the iPad I need to change?
Same issue. I asked Fi Support about this and was told my data only SIM should work on 5G. Have yet to see it switch even though I know I have coverage on T-Mobile where I’m testing it. Also have the APN set to h2g2 as instructed.
