On my iPhone 12 the WiFi toggle/switch is greyed out meaning I can't use it. I have tried all the advice from various forums (inc the Apple Community); additionally, I have upgraded to the latest iOS. However, the issue remains. Is this a known fault, and can it be resolved by me the user?

Get a Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options - Apple
