Can i not use my cellular data to back up my iphone to the cloud? I don’t have Access to a wifi connection but i keep running out of space on my device. Ive searched through the given options that are available in the settings app, as i seem to recall there being a toggle switch to allow for ‘back up using cellular data ‘ but cant seem to find anything like that on this phone.

You need WiFi, there is no way around it. You can however backup to a computer, Mac or PC, without WiFi.

Oh okay. I have already backed a copy of my phone to my macbook. But i got a little nervous when i went to delete items from my phone to make more space and i saw that my phone was still showing that the last backup was ‘never’.

That message is about iCloud backups. The Mac should show a backup for your phone.
How could someone back their phone up to icloud with out having a wifi connection
