iCloud for Windows

If I install iCloud Drive on my Windows laptop wil it download all the files in the directory or will it do what onedrive does and only download the files you choose?

Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you are looking to use iCloud Drive on your Windows computer, and we can give you some information that you may find helpful.


When you install iCloud on your computer and turn on iCloud Drive, iCloud for Windows creates an iCloud Drive folder in File Explorer. At that point, you will choose which files you would like to store on iCloud Drive.
