DJ workspace - beat mixing in Logic Pro

Hi

I like to make a DJ mix by beat mixing in Pro Logic. I need a DJ workspace in Logic Pro. Maybe you can Beat mixing in Logic Pro today BUT it could be much better. A DJ workspace is design to be a workspace for people that will make DJ beat mixing in Logic Pro. Hope this community and Apple will support this suggestion about the DJ workspace in Logic Pro-

For a start - Here is how the DJ workspace could look like (some of the things Logic Pro already have):

  • One Timeline
  • Two or more Tracks (importing Music number to Track)
  • Adjusting of tempo (BPM) and Keys (on the track)
  • Auto match of Music Numbers (BPM, Key and energy)
  • Music browser with BPM, Key and energy
  • Waveforms, Cuepoints, beat (In the Track)
  • All the music numbers in the Music browser I analyzed for using to beat mixing
  • Mixer - Volume points that Can be edited
  • Easy to repeat part of the track
  • AI Music seperation In Tracks

Did you know you can route audio from your DJ Mixing software directly into Logic? This can be done with loopback, soundflower or blackhole. That means you can mix like a DJ and edit like a producer.

I am using different software for different results. I'd rather use dedicated software than software that claims to handle everything but doesn't really do anything well.

Again, if you like to drive a bicycle, get a bike. If you like to drive fast, get a sports car. If you like to transport a lot of equipment, use a truck.

The thing is, Logic is already a multi-functional DAW which does a little bit of everything, but in the end I have to use dedicated software other than Logic for professional scoring, for live shows with changing set-ups/controllers, for midi-transforming, for audio installations...

BTW, this is a user forum, apple is not here. If you like to send feedback to apple, use the official feedback link:

Have fun and make music!

Thank you for the information. I didn't know but my point of view is to make all in Logic Pro. It is possible to beat mixing in Logic Pro but it could be easier and better. The one thing I miss most I a Music browser that show bpm, key and energy (just like mixed in keys). Logic Pro has before had a music browser but now it is gone. Please give us it back and with new features.
