No irregular heart rhythm?

Hello,

I was born with heart block (aka ‘AV block’ or ‘Atrioventricular block’).

There’s no problem in daily life and don’t need to have a pacemaker.

When I have a medical check, 1 or 2 times a year, my doctor says that there’s illegular vital signs but not have changed over 10 years.

Recently Health Ministry of Japan have approved the Apple Watch’s ECG finction,

so I got an Apple Watch for my own and start using.

I’m wearing it almost 23 hours a day (1hour for charging), but it won’t detect ‘irregular heart pulse’.

My Apple Watch is new and clean, looks no other problem.

This is nomal behavor? I’d be glad if someone here has good advice or facing the same problem.

Apple Watch 6, 7.4.1

iPhone XS, 14.5.1

Thanks

Apple Watch Series 6, watchOS 7

I’ve got an answer from Apple ECG specialist. Apple Watch will only alert when it detect irregular vital signs five times (or more) in 48hours.

Details found here < https://www.cnet.com/health/apple-watch-ecg-app-what-cardiologists-want-you-to-know/>

Additionally the specialist said that users who have heart problem/disease

(eg. non-serious problem, taking medicines, ever had medical surgery)

is the company’s “off-target” customers. She told me to turn off the notification :(
