I don’t think you can tell if it was a Wi-Fi call after the call ends on the phone itself, but at least with my carrier it appears in the carrier’s call log in their iPhone app and on their account management website.
If you have Wi-Fi calling enabled, when you make a call it will say “Wi-Fi" after the carrier name in the status bar.
How many Apple devices you have? For WiFi calling to work, you need more than one Apple Device. iPad, Mac or multiple iPhones.

Call Receiving...
Say, when you receive a call on your iPhone you can attend the same call on iPad /Mac or another iPhone.
In the recent call history, you will see the "call attended on the other device" remarks.
Call Making....
You make calls to anyone using a Mac or iPad and this will use the iPhone's cellular network to place the call if they are on the same WiFi.

That is not correct. You can have only one iPhone and still have Wi-Fi calling on that one phone. If you have multiple devices you can also have Wi-Fi calling on the other devices as long as one device in the group is an iPhone, but other devices are not necessary for Wi-Fi calling on a primary or only iPhone.
I am not too sure about this.
Ok, I take your words. I also See the Airtel WiFi when I make calls (See the Pic below), How do we answer the OP's query? Looking at the Recent call list there is no indication of that.
The area where I am residing has very poor cellular coverage. The WiFi calling should enable me to make and receive calls seamlessly.
But I literally run to the balcony to receive calls, even today. If I am not on the balcony the other person cannot hear my voice.
Nevertheless, I take your words for it.
Thanks for pitching in and correcting my knowledge, Lawrence Finch. You are always very helpful!
I am going to call my carrier tomorrow. The cellular coverage is bad and the WiFi calling is available here but Still, my entire family goes to the balcony to attend calls.
Something is amiss here.
I am more confused than ever! Af
