Apple watch Series 3 recovering issue.

Hello,

I have an apple watch series 3 that needs to be recovered or simply unpaired. But I recently changed an iPhone and the old iPhone 7 was traded in, the apple watch is still currently paired with the iPhone 7 and is not able to be unpaired by me because I recently deleted the apple watch off of my apple id. Even though my apple watch displays it is still under my apple id, which might just be because it isn't connected to the internet and cannot refresh. There are a few proofs that the watch was mine originally from the contacts app on the watch, under "my number" it shows my address, Is there anything I can do to recover it?

Thank you for your time.

You can request an Online Activation Lock Removal here.

Or this;

If you can't remember/gain access to the apple id that paired the watch to the phone.Take the watch and it's receipt along with some photo id and any other proof of ownership to an Apple Store and request that they remove the Activation Lock for you.

Otherwise the watch will be of no use to you.

On a computer, go to iCloud.com and sign in with your Apple ID.

Go to Find Iphone.

Select All Devices, then click your Apple Watch.

Click Erase Apple Watch.

Select Next until the device is erased.

Click the remove button next to your Apple Watch.
