Hi! My apple watch 5 was recently stolen but thankfully I recovered it. Apparently, the icloud account it which was logged in, was hacked and thus I had to create a new icloud account. When the watch was stolen, I had sold my iphone which paired with it and now I am left with no means to recover my watch. As the watch gives an error at turning on, I can not reset it.

Sadly it has an Activation Lock from the previous Apple ID. Did Apple recommend creating another Apple ID?
If you have the original receipt with the watch's serial number that verifies that you are who bought it, perhaps an Apple Genius can help.
Otherwise, it's a lost cause.
I do not think I have the original receipt but I shall see. Hope I find it, Anyhow, if this is truly a hopeless cause then perhaps I should consider buying a new one.
