Apple Watch series 3

I recently purchased an Apple Watch through someone on Facebook. I was able to reset and get past the code but it’s saying there is activation lock because of iCloud which the person no longer has access too. Is there any way to go around this? Or maybe info on the right place to get into the watch? Thanks I’m advance !
