I’ve never traded in an iPhone before but plan to do so soon but I am afraid of someone getting my data. If I delete my saved passwords on my phone, will those passwords delete from my iPad and Mac?

Yes, if you delete on your phone will delete in every device, what you should do in this case is factory reset like it was said on The reply above.
