Box Drive auto load on startup

I use multiple cloud-based file management apps. However, the one I use the least is Box Drive (I have to have it for only 1 client). I am trying to figure out a way to prevent Box Drive from loading automatically after starting up my MBP. I understand I can delete Box Drive and just access docs online, but there are several instances where I need access to files stored locally on my computer. In other words, I want to manually start Box Drive when needed instead of having it automatically load at startup. Does anyone have a solution to this? Box Sync was so much better because I could turn it off and on as needed. If I logout of Box Drive, I will lose all Box-related files stored locally on my computer (documents, etc.). If I quit Box Drive, the local files are not deleted but the next time I start my computer, Box Drive pops right back up automatically. It's very annoying

Unfortunately, I have tried all the easy/normal fixes and I have spent an hour searching online for a solution. It does not take up a lot of space on my computer (2TB HD), but sometimes it sure does spike CPU and Memory usage. My next thought was to delete com.box.desktop.launch.plist (or just move it to my desktop). Apparently Box did this intentionally so it is always running unless you quit the App. It acts like an external drive that you have to eject.
